About Me
My name is Greg and I have an interest in photography dating back to my childhood in the Washington D.C. area.
I would eventually like to incorporate make up artists, stylists, and high quality models to showcase my talents in a larger production. I am also interested in taking the studio concept on outdoor locations. So I have joined model mayhem to find models to assist me in my development in fashion and glamour photography and also to increase my creativity through the use of strobe lighting. TFP/CD. For 2009, I am looking to work with models who are interested in "partnering up" to make images. I like to especially to work with models who are new/beginners. Hey, all of us were beginners at one time. TFP/CD are very beneficial for both the models and photographers. It is the best way to get great images for our respective portfolios and for the model's to be comfortable in front of the camera. Paid assignments. I do on occasions hire models. The pay scale will depend on the following: 1) experience in front of the camera, 2) that "look" that would enhance my portfolio. Requirements(both TFP/CD and paid assignments). 1) I prefer to work with models that are at least 18 years of age or over, 2) any models that I work with must provide a valid picture ID (i.e. driver's license, passport, or military ID before any photoshoot, 3) willing to sign a model release, and 4) contact phone number (cell#) sometimes it is a lot easier to speak by phone as oppose to exchanging emails between us. I only call if it is important (i.e. running late, cancelling the photoshoot). I do require that we speak first before any photoshoot either by phone or in person. There should always be some planning before any photoshoot. What type of pictures to take? When and where to do the photoshoot? What articles to bring or wear, makeup, and hair?, introduce ourselves, etc. A 15-20 minute conversation by phone can save an enormous amount of time for both of us and makes for a great photoshoot and pictures. If you have the time, I would be happy to meet with you in person for coffee in a public place (i.e. Starbucks). Sometimes meeting face-to-face is the best way to "break the ice."
