Friends (1160)About MeâCaminante, son tus huellas el camino y nada más; Caminante, no hay camino, se hace camino al andar. Al andar se hace el camino, y al volver la vista atrás se ve la senda que nunca se ha de volver a pisar. Caminante no hay camino sino estelas en la marâ Proverbios y Cantares XXIX (Antonio Machado, 1875-1939) On Photography, Life & Times⦠âPhotos + Grapheinâ says it all⦠Donât wanna sound like the (boring) Master of Obviousness, but I am just a guy in search of capturing the moment and making it eternal, or at least way beyond what it lasts. For the sheer fact that my built-in neural networks did not prove to be as sturdy and reliable in time as I always wished them to be. After so many incredible visual impressions that I naively thought had been permanently carved in my mind as if written on stone, like the most intense Monet-like sunsets, like the most gorgeous women lying naked by my side, waking up at dawn by the hypnotic sound of the first pray of the day coming from the mosqueâs loudspeaker, like the enchanting catâs eyes gaze of the most gorgeous Asian flowers, like the unique and intense view of the female ebony skin in Africa⦠After so many delicate pieces of the finest lingerie lying helplessly on my bedroomâs floor⦠After so many memories religiously collected all around this gorgeous Blue Planet, memories which simply vanished from my brain in the due & inexorable course of time, or at least from my immediate & conscious access, I decided to fiercely fight it back in my own way⦠No pun intended, but a photographic memory is what I always pursued⦠Pretty much the same thing Evangelous Odysseas Papathanassiou musically searched for, with much poetic license: "I've, seen things... ... so many things that you can't believe. Past designs, future designs, Cables in the bend. Second-hand sounds, Future sounds, Synthesized dialogues. Incomprehensible software. Hi Jon, let's break some rules! [Magic invitation which, translated into good olâ German, equals Hesseâs warning: âMagisches Theater. Eintritt nicht für jedermann. Nur für Verrückte.â] Here comes the sun. We're doing some recordings later Same ol' factory you know Here's some names for you, 'Polyester landscape, Nylon oxygen, Ashes to concrete.' Etcetera⦠Etcetera⦠Etcetera⦠Oh, by the way, It's been a beautiful morning, What a morning, Great morning, It's a great morning man." Intergalactic Radio Station (1988) The only original part of all this is: In a significant number of times, I do create the moment, as opposed to merely witnessing it. With emphasis on the subject⦠Of the sentence⦠âIâ. So I sort of excelled at pressing the F***-OFF button, up to the point of walking with a remote control in my pocket⦠Itâs simple like that. (But, is life simple at all? Probably we do make it a hell more complicated than what it really is; or not. Who knows?). Like that famous guy from Magnum, I am also a Buddhist in turbulence⦠(Other than conceptually being the same soup of carbon and covalent bonds, similarities end right here though!) Btw, âMonsieur Cartier-Bresson, I do salute you for your Earthly visitâ¦â Flowing like that I decided not to accept the boundaries most righteously inferred and âpreachedâ by the Zen-Buddhist philosophy, but still acknowledging it is probably the only true way of freeing the rather primitive human mind. Major clarification here: The most likely reason for keeping my primitive (male) mind imprisoned is my natural vocation, or should I say curse, to the eternal investigation of the female soul, whilst religiously exercising my right in the process to claim all the ribs you ladies originally owe me⦠[Almightyâs Voice] âHow dare you my son???â Yep Daddy, I know it⦠Capital punishment awaits me on Final Judgment Day⦠Was kann ich tun? You canât expect a lion to feed on tofu⦠[â¦] And letting the river of life flow like that, at the very end, having had cultivated all the scars that forged my being, I just wanna have my face cut deep and mercilessly by the fierce razor of time⦠At the very last minute, wanna be able to look back and realize all was worth it, every little tiny bit of it⦠Life was worth it all. And âFiat Lux!â I did my best to write it down with Light. A good ending? A bad ending? Bear in mind everything said since Einstein is purely relative. Wanna know more? Wanna take a walk on the wildest sceneries in the holy land of Brazil? Wanna write it down with me? Try drums, smoke signs, pigeons (one-way only Iâm afraid, cos my pet hawk loves themâ¦), or most simply & safely: jcaminante [at] gmail [dot] com Verified Credits (0)Worked with J Caminante?
