Have you ever almost killed your Mother? I have, and now don’t get me wrong it wasn’t intentional, it was accidental. It was October 8, 1986, the day I was born. The Doctor said that my shoulders were too wide and that they would have to cut her to make my shoulders fit, and they had to take me out using forceps, but also leaving the Placenta stuck in the uterus. The doctor would have had to reach in to pull it out, because if left in to long it could have been a big risk that my mom would bleed to death. The doctor said she wouldn’t be able to have another baby after me because she would run that same risk, and yet had one more child and God has blessed us with my sister and mother's good health. I was 8 lbs 6 oz and 21 inches. Born in West Covina, California but raised in Glendora, Ca. As a Child I grew up listing and singing to music, as well as taking care of my Mother. She was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis at the age of 40, and soon enough she couldn’t do things on her own. “I was her right had man,” She would proudly tell everyone. I would help her open jars, clean, cook, change her clothes, and helped put on her shoes. I loved being her right had man. It’s a bonding experience not a lot of people get to do with their mother’s. The funny thing is that I wasn’t helping her; she was helping me, to mold me into the Man I am today. Teaching me the Morals and Values of; Family, Respect, and a Woman’s worth. I started working at the age of 14 and haven’t stopped since. Unfortunately I wasn’t working for what I loved to do but was working for my Father’s family business, to help him out in the summer time washing cars. Teaching me Responsibility, Honor, and taking pride in what you do. After a few years I joined my High School Choir, and enjoyed every minute of it. Right then and there I knew that, that’s what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I wanted to sing and be an entertainer. “But where do I start?” I asked myself. I was walking in circles and circles getting nowhere. I started taking piano lessons and vocal classes, and even though that was helping me improve myself, I was still right at the beginning. “Where do I start?” and “How do I start?” I am now 23 years old, and I am motivated now more than ever. Those questions about “how do I get started” and “where do I start” are not a problem for me anymore. Do you want to know why I am so motivated now? My dad has lost his job and we are on the verge of loosing our house. He has taken care of all 5 of us siblings and did it with out complaining. He is not working and has still managed to keep our roof over our heads. So I say “It’s now my turn to use the gifts from God and talents I was blessed
