I am very different than most women, I like getting my hands dirty and working on projects that will challenge my creativity! I always have been extremely artistic, I love doing charcoal drawings, oil painting, sculptures….etc. I started playing with makeup out of boredom. I would copy the newest makeup styles/looks usually out of Cosmo Magazine. Shortly after that I had girls lined up at my door before proms, dances, parties, and nights out. From then I went to Elizabeth Grady School and completed their 1000 hour program, and passed my Ma state boards shortly after graduating. I have a beautiful 4 year old daughter, Sophia Rose. She loves to assist me, and is very eager to learn about makeup! I am grooming her to be a future star MUA! After Sophie was born I started work at a hospital to make ends meet. I worked within the medical field for just under four years. With plenty of encouragement from co-workers/family/friends I designed some business cards and started seriously freelancing. I have accomplished so much in such a short period of time. My work experience has consisted of photo shoots, a magazine spread, movies, music videos, runway, weddings, prom, Halloween/special fx, and camouflage makeup. It has not always been easy b/c I am a mom, but this is what I love to do. The thought of sitting at a desk working from 9-5 makes me ill! I hope to someday soon start branching out and traveling to NYC more often, down south to Florida, California, Vegas. For now I would love to work for a production or media company as the MUA. For the future my goal is to open my own boutique, and starting my own like of cosmetics. I would also love to teach makeup classes someday, for both informational purposes, and advanced professional training.
