Film photographer based in Nice ( French Riviera ) and open to new collaboration with models / makeup artists / hairdressers / stylists / dancers / artists...
I like to bring new faces and new personalities in front of my camera. What interests me is trying to pull emotion from a person, see behind the physical appearance, digging the personality. Or else to tell a story by making the model play a role. J'aime mettre de nouveaux visages et de nouvelles personnalités devant mon objectif. Ce qui m'intéresse c'est d'essayer de tirer une émotion d'une personne, voir plus loin qu'un physique, creuser dans sa personnalité. He arrived to my hotel in Cannes and we connected from the start. We both loved polaroids and analogue photography, and took a bunch of photos at the lovely room, imagining the who was character he took images of. Then we took a walk on La Croisette and old town to finally drive to a cosy beach nearby to catch the golden hour in all its glory. All in all great day and experience, if you are looking for a funny, easy-going, helpful and visionary photographer I cannot recommend Jean-Marc enough!
