About Me
2015: I am on hiatus. Going more towards body painting and SFX makeup, and moving away from beauty/bridal.
Also focusing on my fashion design, so I am taking *very* limited jobs (paid only). I do not use this site as much anymore, as I've moved over to Facebook (more inquiries that way, and easier to network) so I apologize if you've sent a message and I haven't viewed it. My Facebook link is provided on this profile if you would like to contact me. (My MUA profile is deactivated for the time being, but you can message me on my personal account (I do check the "other" folder daily, too) A little about me: Started doing makeup in 2004, and from then on, have gotten to where I am now (which included taking a few theatre makeup classes, as well as moving to Toronto, ON and graduating from Complections International Academy of Makeup Artistry, for fashion makeup, as well as theatre and special FX) Am most likely going onto attending hair school (to get a bit more under my belt) as well as possibly go back to Complections to attend a few other courses (airbrushing, advance fashion makeup and maybe their FX course as well) I am looking to push myself to see what kind of things I can create. My forte is "crazy"/unique/colourful/bright/outlandish. I can do basic/straight makeup, as well as dark/sexy/gothic, but I prefer adding flair to what I do. I love in-your-face type stuff. I am stronger in makeup than hair, and I would prefer to not do hair until I've had a bit more experience, but like I said...I am looking to push myself, so remember, I am open to doing hair if need be ;) For now, I can do *very* basic styling. At this time, I am not looking to do body painting shoots as I am not much proficient in that field (I am practicing, and it is a lot of fun) I charge a kit fee, which varies depending on the type of assignment or amount of touch-ups in the shoot/gig. I almost ALWAYS never say no to any kinds of shoots/gigs. :) I love what I do, and have fun with it. I am looking to make this a full-time thing, as for right now it's a part-time career. Let's do this! Verified Credits (0)Worked with Dee Johnson- Makeup Art? Share your experience and become verified! Add CreditsCredit Notes
