About Me

After completing his Peace Corps service, M. Holden Warren acquired the photography and filmmaking bug after a chance meeting with National Geographic photographer Debra Kellner in India. Holden photographed the Coronation of the King of Tonga for Geo magazine, following the festivities through the kingdom’s remotest islands. In his native Baltimore, Holden has explored the inner city and hidden subcultures for reports in Urbanite Magazine.

An award winning filmmaker, Holden has directed art-house indie shorts Permanence, Cold Wave Boy, and Who’s the Criminal with Niu Image, a Paris-based production company he founded. He is currently editing a feature documentary, Selling Tomorrow to Save Today, which he wrote and directed, about a New Jersey woman who sells her eggs to help child prostitutes stay off the streets. Holden received a B.A. in Philosophy and English from Clemson University.
