About Me
*** due to some unfortunate events in the past weeks, I am unable to continue modelling at this time ***
I like photographs with a purpose. Just photography for the sake of having a person in front of the lens with no direction or no 'reason' behind the photo does not intrigue me. There can be many purposes (Fashion, ads, products, experimentation, art, learning,...). I like trying to find the purpose behind a picture, when I look at it. Surrealism draws me. I enjoy works, that make me look twice, that promote thinking and invite philosophy. My top favourite artists in this Genre are Salvador Dalí, Jeffery Scott 1019, HR Giger, MC Escher, just to name my top favourites. Surrealism is also used in written works - and while I did not enjoy their writings, they made me think, they callenged me, Kafka, Orwell, Asimov. Kafka and Orwell both, definitely don't offer pleasant reading, but they provide fodder for thought. Inspiration. Asimov actually offers enjoyment on top of this. Where I would like to get at is, that I'd like to be part of creations that aren't necessarily 'pretty', or 'sexy', but thought provoking. Mind opening. Meaning, one day, I would like to get to the point, where I too, will be a story teller and not just one, who stops and enjoys the thoughts behind a foreign picture. I am a full-time student at this time - studying Equine Management and Training. Many writings, works and discussions I come across at college evolve around morality, politics, vulnerability. Quite a few of my papers revolve around those topics. Morality - a learned trait. Historical views on the human body. Cultural differences. Nude vs Naked. I am a German, living in the United States right now, trying to preserve my open-mindedness, while fighting small battles, to widen my own and others' horizons. If one day, I'll be able to be part of art that manages just that - I am happy As for the question whether I shoot nudes: TF only very selectively and with purpose, or if it involves my own ideas. Concepts will have to be cleared beforehand. Credit Notes
