About Me

I am originally from Appalachia, and I have a diverse history involving the performing and movement arts. I was involved in local and school theatre before beginning dance in 2007, and upon graduating in 2009, I moved to Saipan and studied ballet and jazz while attending college there until returning to West Virginia in 2010. In 2013, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science along with a dance minor, and I graduated with a second BS in Biomechanics last December. I was a stage kitten for local burlesque troupes and then performed with Cin City Burleque after completing their beginner workshop in 2016. I adore dancing and was a dancer in the 2016 WV Makes Festival, WV Makers Festival, and Manifest Arts Festival as well as the Look, Listen, and Move Arts Integrated Tour from 2014 to 2016. Additionally, I was a dancer in the Jeslyn Dance Gallery from 2016 to 2017. I act in film work, such as the 2015 project by the Family Medicine Foundation of West Virginia to help fight against opioid abuse in West Virginia, the 2016 and 2017 ARTS New Works 72 Hour Film Competitions, and in skits and a television pilot from the Huntington-based comedy group Coseri. I have done stand-up comedy for over a year, and I was the singer for The Lauren Gray Project in 2017.

Since 2012, I have regularly worked with local artists and photographers on projects. I was particularly sought out by former photographers for my affinity for vintage silhouettes, clothing, and style, and I do my own hair, makeup, and wardrobe for shoots. I also figure modeled for university art classes and under artist, illustrator, and instructor Bastien Lecouffe Deharme. In 2016, I was published in Alt Haus Magazine in a photo by Dakota Burns.

I love movement arts and modeling as modes of story telling. I don't mind getting gritty or silly or sad-this is a medium through which people can collaborate, create, and then connect with others using their both bodies and minds. I hope to work with you to create something wonderful!
