I am a local professional in Ridgecrest and I received my bachelor degree in Fine Art (Drawing and Painting) with an understudy in Photography.

I would like to work with aspiring models who are serious, creative, and willing to help make my imagery stand out creatively. My goal is to express and capture how unique, and how beautiful the female form can be. This does not mean always shooting nudes. Sometimes I feel photography has lost something when there is nothing left to the imagination.

I’m looking for models to shoot who are looking to enhance their portfolio. I am not looking for dates or hooks up's and I am NOT making porn. If you are looking for explicit photos I would like to discuss prior to the shoot in order to gain a firm understanding of what you are expecting. My wife comes with me to each shoot and I encourage models to bring personal escorts for ease of mind. Feeling safe and comfortable is extremely important for me.

I would love to work with aspiring models in the near by ares who are willing to create similar style shots that I find beautiful and inspiring, but I will consider travel for specific shoots.

As you can tell from my shots I like to take photos that are more on the sexy side, but that does not always mean nudes. Beauty can be found in the eyes, the smile, the cheerful playful and confidant pose of the model, all of that together can make for an extremely gorgeous  shot while fully or partially clothed. I also enjoy taking parts shots as well.

I am focusing more on creating an emotive artistic shot that moves the viewer to feel something. Sometimes, happy cheery, bright, and conversely sometimes something dark or gothic in addition to re-creating the nostalgic feeling of retro film, and HDR.

Here are a few artist that I like to style my shoots around. So please do research these photographers prior to booking a shoot.

David Lynch Nudes -- I am really interested in trying to replicate the abstract use of lighting on the model.
Suicide Girls
Chase Ray Krider -- I like the use of retro hotels as back drops but not interested in the graphic nature of his photos.

My ultimate goal is to create a fun environment that brings out the best in the shooting experience.

I do travel occasionally but due to my work schedule and family I try not to travel to often. Which is limiting I know. Most often I travel through Tehachapi to Bakersfield monthly and to Lancaster/Palmdale occasionally. I am more willing to travel to you if you are truly interested in building your portfolio and have creative ideas you would like to explore.

I am willing to pay up to $150.00 per hour for models who are serious and depending on the shoot. Models must have their own method of transportation, and outfits.

I look forward to working with any skill leveled model on a hourly basis or “Trade For” basis to help develop or improve portfolios. If needed, I may ask that a model release form is signed so that both myself and the model can use the images in our respective portfolios and publications.
