I am a photographer based in York. The nude is a central theme to much of my creative endeavors hence why I am here. When shooting nudes, I try to maintain an approach like a portraitist would especially like the classic painters. In that mind think I prefer natural lighting often from windows or being outdoors. I do have studio lighting but rarely use unless requested by a model for her portfolio work. Psychology and a reverence for intimacy are key elements of my work. I like to make my collaborating muses and viewers think or feel in my efforts.

Because I am odd, I like, when possible, to work with someone over longer periods. I always felt this his helps create a true symbiotic relationship and deepens the level of understanding and trust. I prefer input and true collaborations with my subject when possible.

I have been on this site before several times but have placed projects on hold to raise my children. It has been ten years since my last go round. I am guessing these types of sites are not as busy as they once were. But want to return to a familiar place as I restart building connections.

I recently started placing some of my photography on https://fineartamerica.com/profiles/1-richard-lemke/shop so you can check out more of my work there and will in August be finalizing my live website huemanhipster.com to showcase my art and especially photography. I will be creating a blog there on my projects and will be in need of three long term models that would be willing to have a blog there as well to document their thoughts on several projects I will be working on from their point of view. Ideal candidates will be newer to modeling and new to working nude as I want them to share their emotions on the experiences. But will be open to those experienced.
