Recent Graduate from Pratt Institute in B.F.A Fashion Design. Scouting for models, photographers and stylists to collaborate with.
My aesthetic speaks to both men and women, and has a strong sense of androgynous characteristic. I believe that rules are meant to be broken, but to break the tradition of dressmaking, one must first learn. I have tremendous respect for dress codes and the laws of fashion. But I also believe in breaking rules and I have a strong vision of how people should dress. My aesthetic challenges the whole notion of the “right fit” and rejects the “sexiness” that everyone is striving for. I find dressing away from the body projects modesty and coolness with a hint of mystery. When it comes to trends, I consider myself a late bloomer. I start to pay attention to them after the hype or when they are already “out” of fashion; it has worked to my advantage so far. To exercise my creativity is to always ask, 'Why do I not like certain things and how can I make it likable?' I can never consider myself as a designer because I will always be learning and growing."
