April 19, 2010 12:08pm This is a completely different look for Eryn, and it works perfectly. Hereâs my opinion: The eyes. At first I thought I saw sadness, and slowly I thought perhaps it was defiance. The eyes convey powerful sincerity, but we gradually start to see that thereâs no single emotion being expressed; and while the expression implies that she doesnât have anything else to do for a while, no hint as to the true meaning of the look in the eyes is given.
After pausing to ponder the mystery a few moments longer, the lines draw us downward across the cheeks, lips (great in this shot!), and that defiant chin. Her neck, while not distracting, starts the real motion, cutting down across the V of the collar bone and across her muscular chest â where it waits patiently for the viewer to catch up. Here again, a pause is in order while we take in the blue and gold of the bikini top contrasting with and complimenting your delicate skin tone.
At this point, the shoulders begin their descent, again displaying the wonderful muscle tone and that great warm tan. The right arm moves away from the body just enough to let the viewer glimpse the tight, ticklish (looks ticklish!) waist and the top curve of the hips. The left arm continues drawing the viewer downward; the eyes are drawn to that outrageous tummy (!) and belly button. A quick pause to take in the curve of the belly, then the legs start to fade in from the periphery. The viewer is (reluctantly) drawn away from the tummy, and the eyes continue down the lines, anticipating the curves of the legs. But wait: thereâs a horizontal line that catches the eye and halts the viewer in his tracks. Yes, itâs the unassuming blue and gold swimsuit again, and it contrasts wonderfully with⦠WOW!
At once, I knew the look in the eyes. She is showing us that the touch of vulnerability she once had is fading, and her confidence is building. An unfulfilled desire, a physical yearning, the passion within her can no longer be hidden, and sheâs made the choice to follow her instincts. It suddenly occurs that the eyes also deliver a statement of liberation as she makes a stand and whispers, âthis is who I am.â Apparently, she believes in a reward system that is going to leave a smile on her husbandâs face for the rest of his life!!!
As the discriminating viewer ignores the phone and is lost for any one spot in the photo that is more alluring than another, shakes his head. He mumbles to himself as he stumbles down the hall, still reeling from the impact of the photo. âGoddamnâ¦â That was all. Nothing else seemed necessary, or more appropriate.
