May 10, 2010 3:46pm Congratulations! This shot is one for both of you to be proud of - and I'm sure you are! I am impressed with how the model was able to sit still, without goosebumps, and keep the pose steady; while you made the right capture of light and timing for the water effect.
Well done by both of you! A hard days work, for a brilliant result.
If I understand correctly, this is a true 'old fashioned' photo; not a computerized image enhancement.
Congratualtions to you both.
May 09, 2010 9:17pm I really do love this shot (composition, location, lighting and of course, the model!), I do... and I've cut my fair share of feet and elbows and such, but perhaps a full body?
Gorgeous shot though... been a while since I was in Big Sur.
May 09, 2010 1:50pm Camera was high and dry. Amazingly you can be 5 feet from the actual fall and not be in the splash zone. My shoes were a little dam but that was it. Poor Tamilla though......
May 06, 2010 9:15am I love Big Sur! I used to travel down there quite a bit on my motorcycle before I went into photography professionally. Since then though, I've always wanted to go back to the Big Sur beach at high tide to shoot, but I'm stuck up on the frozen north now. I envy you. :(
