May 14, 2013 9:11pm You asked for honest critiques ... I like the angles you're working, but the spot of hot sunlight on the forehead is distracting to me. Possibly consider using a scrim to diffuse the direct sun, and a reflector to fill-light the model's face evenly. Or, you could just wait till the time of day when the sun is soft (Golden Hour?)
March 24, 2013 7:30pm So you said you want honest critique! I don't really like that picture because it's way to dark in the face. The pose and background might be interesting but the background get's to much attention. Try to bring in light with a reflector next time or use a flash.
