May 19, 2013 8:28am You know, I think I'm just going to throw my lower jaw away - it gets so tedious picking it up off the ground all the time... This is simply wonderful! I'm so glad I got to see! Thank you for sharing.
April 27, 2013 9:51pm This looks far better in full size. I particularly appreciate the tight cropping and third line composition. This ensures that the model completely 'owns' the frame. The model's fair and reasonably smooth skin tone contrasts effectively with the black clothing and dark hair. The pose is quite classical and gives the image a 'femme fatale' flavour. The decision to give the model bright red lips is a bold move but in this instance it adds an interesting splash of colour that makes this portrait stand out. Lighting is suitably diffused with only a mere hint of shadow to provide some nice sculpting around the model's jawline. Personally I think this image would be more suited to the black and white medium but overall it is an appealing and attractive portrait.
